POST:                          SENDAT OUTREACH TEACHER 

START DATE:             JANUARY 2020


LOCATION:                  Based at Priory School, Mount Road, Bury St Edmunds, required to attend at mainstream schools across Suffolk

Contract type:            Temporary fixed term to July 2020.

Working arrangements: full time (applications for part time/job share will be considered)

The Special Educational Needs and Academies Trust (SENDAT) is a Multi Academy Trust focusing on specialist provision and special schools. Its core aim is to provide for the continuum of special needs.  SENDAT Outreach service is commissioned by Suffolk LA to support mainstream schools and early years settings to improve outcomes for students with moderate and complex learning needs, across the county.

An opportunity has arisen for a teacher to join the Outreach team in supporting mainstream schools across the county in developing teaching strategies and curriculum to best meet the needs of students with a range of complex SEND.
