Sixth Form
Priory School has post 16 provision. There are two classes - a lower and upper sixth. The students study for a range of accredited courses including City & Guilds Customer Services, BTEC awards in Hospitality, Art, Media and Work skills, ASDAN PSD and Employability; and Functional Skills awards in English, Maths and ICT. All these awards are recognized by colleges and by employers. The students also have the opportunity to take part in the Silver Duke of Edinburgh award. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award aims to provide an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme of personal development for young people. It consists of 4 elements - volunteering, physical, skills and expedition.
The sixth form allows students an alternative to larger college provision where they can live and grow as young adults taking advantage of the pastoral care and strong ethos of Priory School.
