SENDAT is delighted that from 1st November 2019 Stone Lodge academy Ipswich will be joining the SENDAT Trust.

Today Stone Lodge have joined the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Academy Trust (SENDAT). SENDAT is based at Priory School in Bury St Edmunds. The Trust was set up to develop a range of specialist provisions across Suffolk and its border counties. SENDAT’s aim is to support young people to achieve their potential and develop as well-rounded individuals, who can go forward into their adult lives, prepared for the work environment and capable of being independent and productive citizens.

Stone Lodge is very excited about joining the trust. We believe that SENDAT will enable us to continue to improve the quality of education of education, share best practice and work in partnership across the provisions, to provide the very best teaching and learning for our young people.

Stone Lodge will continue to work with our students, their families and staff to provide the very best outcomes for all the young people in school. Joining SENDAT will support the development and aspirations of creating an even better learning environment for our children.

This is a time of change for all of us at Stone Lodge which I believe will help provide many great opportunities and amazing experiences that will benefit us all.

The main school website has moved to www.stonelodge.sendat.academy and staff email address have changed, but all the old ones should still work.
